ABTA FREE 1/2 DAY CAMP

Alberta Baton Twirling Association is offering a free 1/2 day beginner camp for children ages 5-14 years. The participants will receive classes in baton twirling, acrobatics and dance. 

  • Pre-Registration is required to attend.

Prior to the camp you will receive an email with details you will need for attending the camp.

Camp Date: Sunday October 26, 2025

Location: Genesis Centre (10, 7555 Falconridge Blvd NE, Calgary, AB)

Time:

12:15pm -12:30pm – Registration (there will be a registration table by Field #2)

12:30pm – 3:15pm – Classes in Baton, Acro and Dance (as well as some games!)

3:15pm – 3:30pm – Performance by the instructors in the Gymnasium (parents are welcome to watch too!)

General Information:

  • Batons will be provided for the participants to use for the duration of the workshop.
  • Please come dressed in fitness clothing and running shoes.
  • Hair should be tied back and out of your face.
  • Please bring a water bottle with your child’s name labelled on it.
  • Participants will have a 5 minute break between classes.
  • Participants will be grouped according to age. If your child isn’t comfortable in the class they are in, we can move them around.
  • Parents are not permitted on the field during class time, but are welcome to watch from the seating area.
